Josephine “Jo” Wilson 57, of St. Petersburg, passed away peacefully March 19, 2018, in her home. Jo was born October 22, 1960 to Barbara and Kurt Wagemann in Baltimore, MD, the eldest of eight. At age 18 Jo enlisted in the United States Army where she served proudly for six years. Jo married and had four children and settled in Newark, Delaware where she established her own home childcare service, "Wee Folk," touching the lives of many children. After this, Jo began working for the Veterans Administration, serving the veterans in her community. She is remembered as a loving wife and mother, cherished friend, and an avid supporter of veteran rights. She is survived by her husband, Bryan Wilson of St. Petersburg; her children, Dierdre Fitzsimons, Sean Fitzsimons, and Colin Fitzsimons of St. Petersburg, and Tara and her husband Chris Hughes of Harriman, TN. She also leaves behind her mother, father, brothers and sisters, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 24, at 2 pm at Anderson Mcqueen Funeral Home at 7820 38th Ave. N. St. Petersburg, FL 33710. Interment ceremony will be held Monday, March 26, at 9:15 am at Bay Pines National Cemetery.
